This is a summary of items discussed at the 9am Zoom Group Conscience on 6/27/2022.
1. Overall, our meetings were felt to be a positive experience.
2. We discussed assigning a co-host at each meeting to help monitor distractions.
3. We discussed rotating host position
4. Concern was raised about religion vs spirituality being expressed in meetings.
5. Crosstalk was discussed.
6. Future of the 9am Zoom Group – Do we want to register with the WSO?
Decision was made to meet again after the 9am meeting on 7/18/2022.
Agenda
1. Do we need a reminder at the beginning of the meeting for everyone to mute themselves when not speaking and to turn off their video when moving or doing anything that might be distracting?
2. Should we assign a co-host before each meeting – a way of serving the Group?
3. Should we rotate the Host position – a way of serving the Group?
4. Do we need a reminder at the beginning of the meeting that Al-Anon is a spiritual program?
5. Do we want to register this meeting with the WSO?
